Multiple reports have claimed the launch could happen in the third or last week of January. The Nokia 9 PureView is getting clearer by the day. Last week, a leaked promo video gave us a pretty definitive look of the penta-camera smartphone. This week, a new Twitter account called Nokia_Leaks revealed the European pricing of the Nokia 9 PureView. The Nokia 9 PureView is said to launch in Europe first before it heads to other markets. As per the latest leak, the Nokia 9 PureView price will be set at around EUR 749 or EUR 799 depending on the market. A direct conversion puts the price in India between Rs 60,000 to Rs 63,000. This means the Nokia 9 PureView will either be as expensive or costlier than last year’s Nokia 8 Sirocco. To recall, the Nokia Sirocco was launched early last year at EUR 749. But HMD launched the phone in India a little more competitively at Rs 49,999 (approx EUR 628). Considering the company typically prices its phones competitively in India, the Nokia 9 PureView may also launch in the country for around Rs 50,000.Again, it is worth mentioning that the leak comes from a newly minted account and we cannot verify the authenticity of this as of now so you should take the pricing with a pinch of salt. That being said, it does not come as a surprise considering this is a Nokia flagship phone that will come with top-end hardware as well as a penta-camera system that will definitely add to the bill of materials.advertisementBased on the leaked promo video last week, the Nokia 9 PureView will sport a 5.99-inch 2K display with HMD’s PureDisplay screen technology. The promo video also seems to confirm an in-screen fingerprint sensor and Qi wireless charging support. Additionally, the Nokia 9 PureView will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone will also ship with Android 9 Pie and will be part of the Android One program.ALSO READ | Nokia 9 PureView promo video leaks out, 5 cameras, Snapdragon 845 and wireless charging revealedALSO READ | Nokia 9 PureView with five rear cameras launch timeline revealedALSO READ | Nokia 9 PureView with five rear cameras shown off in live hands-on imageGet real-time alerts and all the news on your phone with the all-new India Today app. Download from Post your comment Do You Like This Story?
