Ghantous, CC BY 2.0) More than 4,600 Midwest Energy customers in southwestern Michigan were left without power after thunderstorms pelted the area during the overnight hours of Friday, May 15.According to Midwest Energy, Four substations went down and 4,600 people leaving without electric power around Cass, Vandalia, Union, Edwardsburg, and Mottville.
