PixabayIndian government has made itself very clear when it comes to cryptocurrencies: “These are not legal tender.”This implies the Reserve Bank of India has not authorized any virtual currencies as a medium of exchange and offers someclarity on how India plans to treat bitcoin. But should the central bank’s decision deter you from investing in cryptocurrencies, possibly the most fundamental and revolutionizing invention of our times? There’s no straight answer to this but we can definitely look at the following two possibilities:Let’s start with the answer: no. You should not invest in bitcoin. The reason why is that it’s not an investment; just as gold and rare baseball cards are also not investments. When we make a purchase, we are merely speculating on the prices, without any underlying factor or reasoning. So on some days, our speculation could bring in windfall returns, but there’s a huge likelihood of our investment turning sour in no time.An investment is something that has intrinsic value – that is, it would be worth owning from a financial perspective, even if you could never sell it.Now how about saying yes to investing in bitcoin. In this case, one needs to figure out whether this is a good time to buy. Meaning, do you think the price will continue to rise.Bitcoin is an extremely risky investment and there’s no clear way to analyze the price of bitcoins. Its better to gain some understanding about the currency, what affects it, what are its advantages and disadvantages before making an investment.Beware of websites making tall claims that they will double your bitcoins as they are mostly scams or HYIPs (high yield investment programs).
Related Netflix’s order for the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” interactive special comes after the fourth and final season of the show dropped in January. In its announcement, Netflix quoted Tina Fey, co-creator and executive producer, as saying the interactive special “will be a great way to officially complete the series.”Netflix has claimed “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” — a navel-gazer of an interactive movie, about an interactive video game based on a choose-your-own-adventure book — was a huge hit. But as is typically the case with the company, there’s no public data to gauge how popular it actually has been. Netflix last month debuted interactive original “You vs. Wild” starring Bear Grylls. Its first content in the format were kids’ shows and the company recently ordered animated interactive show “Battle Kitty.”Over its four-season run, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” earned 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including for best comedy series, but was shut out from any wins. The show was created and executive produced by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. Jeff Richmond, Sam Means, David Miner and Meredith Scardino also serve as executive producers. “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” is a production of Universal Television, Little Stranger, Bevel Gears and 3 Arts Entertainment. Kimmy Schmidt, meet Bandersnatch.Netflix is bringing back “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” for an untitled, one-off interactive special, set to debut in 2020. It’s the first interactive comedy for the streamer. As with Netflix’s “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” movie and other interactive shows, viewers will be able to make choices on behalf of the “Kimmy Schmidt” characters and take them down different story branches — and they’ll get different jokes.Cast returning for the interactive special include Ellie Kemper in the title role, along with Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. It’s something of a stunt, but there’s no doubt fans of the show will be eager to dive back into the off-kilter world of “Kimmy Schmidt” in a new way. Another goal for Netflix: to drive viewers to rewatch all or part of the existing 51 episodes in the series, or reel in new fans to binge-watch it — thereby extracting more value out of programming that’s already in the bank. ‘Orange Is the New Black’ Creator Jenji Kohan and Star Uzo Aduba Bid Farewell Popular on Variety What’s Coming to Netflix in September 2019 ×Actors Reveal Their Favorite Disney PrincessesSeveral actors, like Daisy Ridley, Awkwafina, Jeff Goldblum and Gina Rodriguez, reveal their favorite Disney princesses.
